The Manatee County school system is dedicated to serving students by providing state of the art curriculum, instruction and facilities to promote higher student achievement in preparation for tomorrow's workforce. 

Local parents, business people, the school board, school administrators, and teachers are working together to establish high standards, school improvement, and accountability.  The new PreK-12 curriculum emphasizes the knowledge and skills necessary for a student to be successful in the 21^st century. Learning for living is the goal of the new curriculum, which is closely monitored to determine what students know and are able to do.  Manatee County's curriculum serves as a model for school districts throughout Florida.
